I've never heard anyone say McCain degrades women. If they did it's probably because of his affair...nothing more, nothing less. Quit trying to pick fights about things you have no idea about. Obama has every right to choose whom ever he believes would be best for VP. It has nothing to do with sexism.

Women should be completely disgusted with John McCain. With his abysmal marriage record and deep ingrained lack of respect for women, I think they'll reject him. We just need to find those women and show them his past in his own words:

*Laughing and joking about raping women - TRUE

*Abandoning his crippled 1st wife after a terrible accident.  John McCain cheated on his crippled wife (who had his children and waited for him faithfully all thoses years while he was at war) and divorced her for a woman 20 years younger. - TRUE

*Calling his 1st wife a C.... U...N....T - TRUE

*Cindy (2nd wife)MADE John sign a prenup - TRUE

*Is against equal pay for equal work legislation for women - TRUE

John McCain does not have good values.

Biden has over thirty years experience in the Senate and is strong where Obama isn't. He's an expert on foreign policy and could win over working class voters, the same group Obama has had trouble getting support from. Biden has also been known to support the Defense of Women Against Domestic Violence Act. Besides, there is no way could I see Hillary playing second fiddle with Obama.

McCain is not a woman's friend and here's why. While POW in Vietnam, his wife Carol was in a terrible accident that disfigured her and she was never the same again. McCain was disgusted to find out that she was not the pretty girl he once married and treated her terribly. Shortly after he divorced Carol, he married a rich heiress named Cindy Hensely whom he was involved with before his divorce from Carol became final. If it wasn't for his current wife and her money, McCain would never be where he is today. Also, McCain has opposed equal pay for women and having health insurance policies cover birth control, although he thinks coverage for Viagra is okay.

Appointing Sarah Palin as his VP pick does not make McCain any more sympathetic to women's causes. McCain's past of disrespecting women speaks for itself.
