OK i live in Chicago and here everyone needs 2 license plates.i wanna ask how many letters/numbers can be put on a customized license plate(also how much?)and is it illegal if i put "TWITTER" for my front license plate?thank u!!!!

    7 Letters/numbers.  No, you can't change just the front plate, you would have to change them both, and you could only have "TWITTER" if it's available in the state of IL.

  2. Its usually 7 letters/numbers. As for how much you need to pay, find out on the dmv website for your state.
