License to advertise at the mall?

Do you need a license to advertise at the mall about a charity that you created? Me and a friend saw a sad video about ameri-asian's (mix people living in Vietnam or anywhere in Asia)and we plan to help out by raising money. We need sponsers, or just money from random people, but do you need a license or anything to advertise at the mall? Specifically River Town in Grand Rapids.
