Lied about my family relationship during job interview by a canadian employer will this affect me?

said that idont hav a family there but now i made a letter of apology. whats gonna happen?

you should not have lied but since you have lied and corrected as well so you might get a job with this assumption that you are a loyal person but at the same time its not trustworthy for an employer.

They will most likely let you go. Lying on job inteview is grounds for dismissal
