Lien put against me?

if i have had a lien put against me, how much will be taken out of my check if i only make like 150 a wk?? how long is a lien valid for

A lien is not used to garnish any ones pay to collect a debt.  A lien is just a hold placed on anything you may own that would have to be paid from sales proceeds.

Now if you mean a "order for garnishment" then that is a different story.  Each state has their own laws as to how much and if it is legal to do.
