Start by summarising the general theme of the book. What was Loewen trying to teach? From where did he derive his research? What does his research show? Then write about the chapters. Summarise important key points. How does each chapter support his thesis? And what can we learn from it? At the same time, could he have been biased? Sometimes when trying to get a point across, people fail to include the other side.
