Life after humans?

Question

so watched Life After Humans and showed you 1 week after humans, 2 weeks, month, 3 months...etc etc. However DOGS, CATS, PETS IN GENERAL, ZOO ANIMALS, ZEBRAS ETC all survived EXCEPT humans?!?

I'm so confused

how did they all get wiped out but leave everything else such as crocodiles, pigs and eagles?

That was on the History Channel. it was just make believe. It was a really great show.
