  1. Look life is here so it doesn't matter how it started

  2. This is a difficult question to answer . By science it all began back at the big bang that created the starswe needed. life needed the huge stars that dont last long to burn hotter creating the elements we needed here on earth to create life however if you think about it how was the big bang created and huge stars that created elements for life started its sort of a question like what came first the chicken or the egg . a egg had to come from a chicken however a chicken had to come from a egg. my feelings are something greater than we know started everything and we can only go back as far as the big bang so we as people figure that must be how it started .more open minded people figure that there is more too it i agree with them

  3. A god couldn't have started, or been eternally present, just by chance, could it/he/she/they?  Surely, that god must've been part of some other god's design!  And that other god couldn't have started, or been eternally present, just by chance, could it/he/she/they?  Surely...

    Carry on ad infinitum.

    Update

<<Look life is here so it doesn't matter how it started>>

    Agreed.

  4. Yeah sure it did evrything happens by chance if you think about.

Say the invention of micro electronics, some simple interaction started it off now computers are an intrinsic part of our lives. In the same way back in the acient oceans billions of years ago one squishy thing sqidged in to another squishy thing and BANG it started squigling around, add a big pinch of time and bang hear we are talking to each other on the internet! Thats evolution.

  5. To state that life began by chance would be a direct denial of our scientific understanding of our planet and surrounding universe. Something that I like to use to build my argument for an existence that is not created by chance is the Kalam Cosmological Argument. Someone who I am greatly influenced by, Dr. William Lane Craig, has summarized the argument as follows:

Premise 1: Everything that begins to exist has a cause.

Premise 2: The universe began to exist.

Conclusion 1: Therefore, the universe must have a cause.

We know by observing an expanding universe that it had a starting point, which may or may not have been the Big Bang.

Factoring in the mathematical improbability of life's existence by random chance, no matter how much time is given, life's existence is impossible without a Creator. For instance, how did DNA get here by random chance? No matter how many changes through microevolution, DNA remains far too complex to exist without the assistance of a Creator. Without DNA we are nothing, it is the very core of our being.

Take into account the individuals who have acknowledged and currently acknowledge the existence of a Creator:

Albert Einstein, Stephen Hawking, Galileo Galilei,Louis Pasteur. They clearly saw or currently see the impossibility of life without an integral component, God.

I am going to take it a step further than simply stating a Creator exists, for what is the purpose of God if He simply is the way Deists describe Him? What purpose does God serve if He remains uninvolved with the very Creation He willed into existence? I would be an atheist if that were so, but I know otherwise. My mother should be dead from a car accident that ruptured her pancreas over twenty years ago. Depite her living, she was declared infertile...yet I am here. This led me to search and know, without a shadow of a doubt, that the God of the Bible is the true God. Even though historical and archaeological evidence supports Christ as the true God, and the Bible as infallible, it was not this that led me to God. I am sure that this last statement will invoke anger among some, but it had to be said.

  6. If someone is thinking that life started just by chance he believed that life is a product of EVOLUTION.  Otherwise he believed that life is created by GOD?

  7. How life got started is one of the most interesting questions still unanswered at this time.  For a good popular account of current thinking, see "Gen-e-sis" by Robert Hazen (not to be confused with the Bronze Age document of the same name).

Part of the problem is that we do not even know whether it is a very unlikely thing to happen, or something almost bound to happen given the existence of a warm wet planet with the right kind of atmosphere. That is what Francis Crick (look him up in Wikipedia) said many years ago, and it's still true now.

  8. You are right. It could not come about by chance.

Life contains mind-boggling complexity of information contained in DNA. Information *never* arises spontaneously. It is evidence of a designer.

Some people claim that all scientfic laws were somehow suspended and life arose from non-life. They give it the fancy name of abiogenesis, but it is scientifically ridiculous idea.

If a creationist came up with an idea a hundredth as silly it would rightly be laughed out of court.

Here is a clear article about the Urey-Miller experiment, showing why it shows that abiogenesis could not have happened.

The only reason people peddle this kind of idea is because the reject the idea that God created us. They will believe literally anything except the blindingly obvious.

God himself tells us that all people are without excuse for rejecting him. His creation is proof of Him.

  9. youre here

    im here

are you telling me that 13.7 billion years ago at start of universe someone planned us???

  10. There are reasons for everything , regardless of the odds against something happening , they can still happen and cause a result , life started because of a combination of factors coming together , a different combination and we would not be here , but then we could be on mars with two heads

  11. well everyone likes to talk about Odds..well It has been estimated that in the entire Universe there may be over 100 biilions planets enough like ours to have the possibility of life.If the odds for a  "random " event beginning the principles underlying life were placed at 100 billion to one ...this one won..... What would be the odds that a divine creature /.creator could be conjured ? . Science explores the natural phenomena unlying Nature's activites.....supernatural explanations for things promote little in understanding anything.

I also remind you that back in Biblical times EVERYONE knew the earth was flat, it was the center of the Universe and demons caused disease.....well they were wrong....beliefs mean nothing..evidence does

  12. Of course not! God created it. As simple as that.

    I hope that helps.
