Life expectancy?????

Ok i have two questions......what is the life expectancy on a 1998 toyota camy w/ 140 thous. miles and what about a 2004 chevy calvalier w/ 117 thous. miles...Thanks

it depends on well you take care of them.

either car will be a gamble. the life expectancy would depend on the maintenance done on the vehicles over the years. i would say if they had their 30k,60k,90k, and 120k services and you have receipts from the owners, they should be reliable. make sure you get the car looked over by a shop before purchasing either one

those are some good years for both cars. on the camry either the 4 cyl, and v6 you cant go wrong, it would easily do 200 thousand miles, look out for suspencion on this car, struts and the strut mount is expensive. On the cavalier just make shure it has the ecotec engine and it should be good to go. Cavaliers develop trans problems, just have it serviced by the dealer.
