I am looking to move to Europe and am thinking about Germany in particular. How has the Euro has affected affordability and lifestyle? Which area's are better with regards to affordability and lifestyle?

Also, I have studied psychology and have my honours degree but no masters or doctorate. Does anyone know if I will need my MA/DR to get relevant work?

Also, whats it like to study in Germany as a non-citizen? (I speak German but my partner doesn't...yet..)

Thanks :)

  1. since u speak deutsche - germany is good.  cheaper than france/uk.  if u r white - no problem. no need MA/DR.  salary is enough to cover living expenses. with MA-not much diff.  with DR - some diff.   former eastern germany is cheaper still. lifestyle is catching up with frankfurt/hamburg.  try the small towns. lagenheim - outskirts of frankfurt is charming!

euro is going down but still high?  which is your currency? US$?

studies in germany is free but not easy to get in.  it takes 6mths to learn the language with total immersion.

    thought of austria? switzerland-german part?
