Life in India after http://www.senore.com/Cricket/SR-Tendulkar-c2556 – an exclusive interview
Sachin Tendulkar, who is no less than a cricketing God in India, will soon be taking his final bow in the game of cricket, where he has reached such heights which are going to be extremely difficult to match or better by anyone.
However, all things must come to an end, and the time for Sachin to retire is coming closer each day.
This reality has left Indian fans in a predicament they desperately want to avoid. Nonetheless, this scribe caught up the little master in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Bangladesh-c747 airport, where he was waiting for his flight to India.
After a warm cup of coffee and cookies we finally sat down for an extended interview where the batting maestro revealed his future plans.
Sachin said that he had not considered retiring before his 100th century and was ready to play till the age of 60 if that is what it would have taken for him to finally score the century of all centuries.
However, now that he has finally bagged the much awaited goal of his life, he has started considering all options and feels that the time might be near for him to bid farewell to the game as it is better to leave now when his century is still fresh on the
minds of his fans.
Sachin informed that he had been invited by Australian batsman http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Australia-c746, where Australian kids could be trained to bat the way he batted all his life.
Then disclosing his deepest desire to work in Bollywood alongside Mallika Sherarat, he revealed that Mahesh Hatt was working on a script to unite him and Mallika on the big screen.
According to him, the film would be rated PG, and would focus on cricket than showing skin. Nonetheless, a racy song would be added to attract audience.
http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Chinnadupargea-Sachin-c50607 explained that his body double would be doing the song as he was not equipped to dance and his wife disapproved of him mingling with other women.
Sachin being a man of religion, also expressed his desire to open a temple where he would preach the religion of cricket as he wants cricket to be India’s second most followed religion after secularism.
He also hinted at the possibility of buying an Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise, which would have players from India (only). He rejected the notion of being a racist and insisted that he just wants all Indians to be in his team so that complete bliss
could be maintained in the squad.
Speaking on the possibility of becoming the head of Board of Control for Cricket in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750 (BCCI), he suggested that he would prefer to head the Australia and English cricket boards and convince them to make dead pitches when teams from India come for a tour.
Taking a rigid stand against the Umpire Decision Review System (UDRS), he wants technology to be scrapped from the game and bashed the DRS, calling it an abomination.
With these plans he wants to stay close to cricket but at the same time enjoy the things that he could not do while playing cricket.
Later, he thanked this scribe for taking out the time to conduct an exclusive interview as he left for his flight.
