Life in Ploiesti (Romania)?

Hi all!

I will have to move to Romania for 3 years. I will stay in Ploiesti. So I want to know how's life there, good place to party, which Digital TV, internet and telephone provider is (are) the best, the Do and Don't. Basically anything relative to everyday life. I know it's Europe and not the moon and there is a normal life there, but I am actually looking for good tips to avoid making my life miserable.

I am Romanian.

My advice is to come here - and ask your fellows, colleagues, neighbors....

Romanian citizens are talkative, nice people, ready to help with a smile...

Don't speak loud in English....not everybody is a saint here, and thieves like foreign languages! :)

ploiesti is not one big town and it`s not so nice.anyway better stay in your country anywhere is better then in Romania.
