Life in americorps ncaa, could i survive?

I was thinking about joining the NCCC-but I heard it's the most strenious! I'm not weak but I lack hand-eye coordination and i'd rather volunteer with homeles, the elderly, animals,etc. However these branches are only local and I was looking for something that covers housing. Im not opposed to joining the NCAA but I'm not as good doing physical things like building(lack motor skills as well) anyone been in americorps give me any advice ortell me what its like??

I have known ppl in Americorps but  they were working with homeless and disadvantaged ppl.   They did receive a stipend for living expenses.   From what I observed through them the best way to find out whatb the requirements and possibilities are for any given aspect of Americorps is to talk with the Americorps folks directly.  They are used to answering questions and giving info.   Hearing first hand is always a lot better than 2nd or 3rd hand.  You may be able to visit a work site too and see for yourself what the participants do and how they do it.
