Life insurance question...?

Does anyone know of a website where you can search and find out which life insurance companies have a life insurance policy for someone? For instance, a family member has died and had 2 life insurance policies, however the family cannot find any documents stating which company the policy was with. Is there a website or a company that can investigate and find out which insurance company/companies the family member had a policy with?

No there isn't.  Search through old records, including check registers to see if you can find clues.  If you know who they used as a home and auto insurance agent, ask them if they wrote the life policy.  If they were still paying on the policies, late notices will begin to appear soon.  

Keep looking.  It can be difficult, but you will find them.
