Life insurance statement not delivered?

I applied for a life insurance last Oct. (2007) on the phone and it is like a limited time period (1 year) insurance for me going out to sea. They got $750 from my VISA. I have forgotten about it and now I realized I didn't get any information or policy statements about the insurance at all. I feel strange about this, so I want to cancel. Would they refund my money back?

First of all you ask for your statement from your agent by giving your policy number and payment detail than only you can apply cancellation

If they have insured you since last Oct. they won't refund all your money to you.  They may pro-rate it and give you back half (six months that are left in the year), $375.  Contact them and if they are on the level then they will be reasonable.

From now on keep track of your important papers, contracts, warranties, deeds, licenses, etc.
