A gamble is making a move where you do not know the certain outcome.  Although many elements of life are a gamble the most important ones should be made where you have the house edge and know what the expected outcome will be.

To conclude I would say 'Life is a gamble' as when you cross the road, start a new job you never know what will happen.

This is only for those people enjoy gamble, I know my mom and dad gamble a lot I always tell them no point of wasting money on gambling because it didn't worth it. I know some people wasted 1~10 thousand dollars in one day on gambling. The people who own that place or the co-worker are also part of the gamble as long every thing related to gamble.

Life is a gamble because everything you do has a cost in time, money, life, etc. You have to calculate the cost vs the gain.
