Life is screwed up( yet theres a lesson here somewhere)?

Question

met a girl last year while she was dating a complete a*****e

a few months later they broke up and she gave me her number. i called once and she was busy. "conversation" lasted 7 seconds ( i literally found that digit on my phone yes) Now i meet her in school and we start texting. she pours her heart out to me on the phone, telling me about her drug addicted mother and her great father, after all this i find out she has a boyfriend and today it just sent me over the edge. i felt i needed something to hit (fortunately i have a punching bag) Finally i found out she met him 4 days after i called her. 4 ******* days. she could have been mine if i had called. now im stuck in the horrible friend zone and probably won't escape.

You do NOT want this girl.  She is a damsel in distress and it will make you feel like a man to "have" or "get" her but all you will end up with is a still...a distressed damsel.  She is trouble and she will usually tend to pick guys that are jerks because she is used to the "drama".  Be more confident and choose a better chick.

does she know you have feelings for her? If so- quit being the nice  guy she doesnt like that type. Ignore her for a few days she will call--when she asks you whats wrong let her know how you feel--if she doesnt care about you she will let you know she isnt interested in you like that and it would be easy for you to get out of that zone.

guess what the guy that i fell for is 4 years older than me, and we were at a party pulled an all nighter, i really fell for him, and u could tell he liked me, guess what i barely got to know him, and he got deployed... yeah.. so u have to belive it all happens for a reason man

if she knew you asked for her number ...and she knew you called ( even if it was for 7 seconds ) ..then it would seem she also knew you were interested.....So if she hooked up with a new guy right after this...she wasn't that interested in return..... So the lesson is ..you can't say she was defintiely going to be yours if you had called....Because there is nothing about  love you can be definite about.

Life is one big lesson.No matter how young or old we learn something new everyday.You say she poured her heart out to you so she is probably comfortable discussing these issues with you.Stay in touch with her & be a friend & you just never know where this may lead in the future.

Everything either happens or doesnt happen for a reason.  Either it didnt happen because she's not the right girl for you, or it didn't happen YET but will happen later when the time is right.
