Life is what happens when you are making other plans.?

what do you think this means? i have a huge paper to write on his quote but i cant seem to think of anything!

life doesn't go according to your plans always as life isn't always about plans, but just living it and enjoying yourself.

Alright, I've debated this myself and from where I stand I believe it means that you shouldn't spend your life making plans for the future while you still have a life to live and theres so much out there you could be doing but you're so busy making other plans that you can't make the most of that life.
