Would you rather live.....

A) With great Glory, some fame, exciting adventures and always be on a "high horse" , but will die young.......

Or.

B) With an Ordinary life by society, settle down, seek love and family, self fullfillment and live a long happy life.

I think about this alot...& I Choose A.Honestly.

Not for the sake of sounding "cool" but i'm very adventerous, egotistical and would rather explore things than just settle down.

Doesn't mean i don't want a life like B, its just if i had that choice you know?

Whats your choice?

  1. A

  2. I'm more of both A and B but i lean more towards A.

  3. B.  It includes self fulfillment and a long and happy life.  How bad can that be?  I think that's what just about everyone hopes for.

  4. B. The last part of the option is all i need to read, "live a long and happy life." That is all I would ever want or need in any lifetime.

  5. A lot of people impacted the world with a short life, 1 being "Jim Morrison".  Possibly the greatest musician and poet of the 70's.

So, as long as I accomplish something in life, I'm content with both, but I'd rather lean towards A, just so I can stand beside my heroes.

  6. B, which is how I'm living now.  Yes, it's a judgment call, and there is no right answer to this question for everyone.  Me, I simply have no desire for fame, glory, power, etc.  While I'm not adverse to adventures--I recently returned from 2 weeks in Sri Lanka, and am an avid World of Warcraft gamer--I nonetheless find much enjoyment in life's little moments and ordinary activities.

  7. The thing about the way you phrased that is that all extroverts will always choose A and all introverts will always choose B.  It's not that either is more right or more wrong than the other, it's just that it's too two-dimensional.  Life is not so two-dimensional, thus the real question is impossible to answer as part of a real-life scenario.

I personally would likely choose A, because I'm more out-going and love the adrenaline of the spot light.  It's not that I can't just enjoy being a normal, contented person, but I like to be a little extreme.  Not in a dangerous sort of way, just in a quasi-rebelous sort of way.  It's a kind of mental escape that breaks you away from the masses, and that's why I would choose A.

However, no one can really sit back and say, "No, no I do not want to live a long, happy life, please, let me die young," and thus the conundrum in and of itself is flawed.

  8. B.

  9. i wouldn't choose either life. i would prefer to spend my time pondering why we are here and trying to fulfill my purpose so that i don't have to repeat the experience of being a human on this planet. better to try and fail then to live a life seemingly much less likely to bear that fruit. and you learn so much along the way so it's great fun and if you could help alleviate peoples suffering and enlighten them then you could do the same and  get the life of choice A too (well i don't know about the die young part). 2 birds 1 stone. also, statistically i'm not so sure that those who choose option B end up being happy. and there are many, many options. you create your own reality. you are a painter and your canvas is life. good luck on life's journey : )

  10. ...B...self fulfillment, and a happy life...a lot of people would pay for it...

  11. You DO have the choice!? B sounds a lot better....i just don't want to get old.

  12. That is total based on everyone preferences. I personally would chose B because being in the spotlight is not for me. To me the most important thing is to figure out is what i want to do in this life, and accomplish it. As long as i do that, i will be happy with life.

  13. i will take A with the last part of B

  14. I would choose B. because first off its more normal and reality. Second off I think just by being in an ordinary life you have some adventures ups and downs in life awaiting for a new day to come. You can choose who you want to be. Honestly having B for a choice makes more sense to me in my opinion...sure I would like to have some fame in life and yea I am more of an adventurous person. More likely if I want to live that life, but to get to that life I would have to some how reach that...to "die young" thats why I would choose B if had that choice I would rather be living happily
