  1. ok heres the whole scenrio:

the primary lifeguard enters the water with a slide in entry...grab the chin and the back of the head (if the victim is face down, do one of the flips to turn them over) and swim slowly as you wait for the secondary to bring the backboard (make sure you call for the backboard and someone to call  911) the secondary pushes the backboard under the victim and centers the victim.  The primary moves their hand to under the backboard...make sure the other hand holding their chin does not move.  Move close to the wall and once you are at the wall the secondary moves to the wall and squats down so the backboard will rest on their collar bone.  Make sure that the secondary has hold of the head before the priamry lets go.  The job of the 3rd lifeguard is to provide support for the secondary lifeguard by putting their arms under the arms of the secondary lifeguard and holding onto the board.  The priamry lifeguard then straps the victim in.  Chest first (make sure the arms are crossed at the wrist), then the arms, then legs.  then do the head straps...make sure the secondary does NOT let go of the head until the primary has pushed the cushion thing for the head all the way down until it cant be pushed any further without moving the hand.  When you move the hand, make sure it goes straight to holding the hea again, but outside the head cushion thing.

    Hope it helps!:)
