when i was a kid i always did because it's the law. as a teenager, i always have one with me when i go boating, but i don't wear it.

I only wear a PFD if I am skiing or in a lake.  I don't wear them in daddy's pool.

no offense, but if you don't wear a life jacket (at any age) you are stupid. young children especially should wear them.

I always wear one when going into any body of water other then a pool. You just never know what can happen. For example, I took my brother kayaking and while attempting to get out of the kayak for a quick dip in the river the kayak overturned. I am a life guard certified in CPR; however, I would have drown if not for the vest. I had to struggle to overturn the kayak and help my brother, who also had on one, back into the kayak. So that would be a yes for me!
