  1. I tried it for math for my son in 1st grade.  He did not do well with it.   It moved along much too slowly for him.  We switched to Horizons which suits him well.  It moves quickly, spirals topics for review and he tests about 2 yrs. ahead of his peers.

We tried buying individual Life Pacs for science because I use Core Knowledge as the basis for our scope and sequence and no science curriculum matches that s & s.  I ended up selling them unused.  Though we were buying them from 1 to 2 yrs. ahead  (ex.  the CK 3rd grade s&s needed Life Pacs from 4th and 5th.  They were very dull and read like a text from when I went to public school.  Blech!

All in all, I don't care for them for my child.  But each child has individualized needs and may love the format.  If you can go to a homeschool store, or curriculum fair or seek out a friend using them, take a look before you buy.

  2. I have heard one person, years ago, who used it and loved it.

We're unschoolers, so I never tried it.

    Good luck :D

  3. I googled "Lifepac reviews" for you and came up with many, many reviews of Lifepac.  If you do the same you can review each of the subjects covered.

    Be well.
