  1. Yes. There are companies.

You must work within the bylaws of the local authority, but any contractor you employ will know about them

Not every block will necessarily have water. You may have to buy it from a neighbour, or by the tankerload. Put a tank in to utilise your roof as a catchment.

Google the contractors, or check them out in the yellowpages.

You can also google the appropriate council

  3. You need water tanks for your water unless your block is connected to the town supply. You will have a septic tank for sewage and you get a contractor to come and empty it every so often. Again, you may be connected to the city sewer in some rural locations now. It depends how far out you are. If you go for tanks my advice is get two installed. If you had a drought like last summer you would be buying water. I insisted on 2 tanks when we lived on a block. My husband couldn't work out why - until we lived there!

but it really would depend on where your block is. You can go to the council and ask, or even phone and find out what you require in the location you are planning to build.
