Lifetime of a unsed group?

i made a Group then stopped using my previous ID.i heard after 4 months it will deactivate but it's still activate?and i forgot my previos ID password is it possible to deactivate it.

how do you know the ID is still active? if it's deactivated, it still remains in the groups members list. inactive account is suppose to delete in like 3 to 4 months.

Yahoo Groups do not have expiration days as long as Yahoo does not delete them, but Yahoo Mail is deleted. Here is some more info about it:

you need to log on with your previous ID. otherwise the group will not deleted it self
