Question:

Lifting one year labour ban?

MOL has put a 1 year labour ban because i left my job for health reasons without written notice. I found another job I can still perform without problem a month after my visa was canceled and my previous sponsor gave me NOC (we are still in very good terms and he wants to help, and swears he never asked for a one year ban). My previous employer is willing to do whatever he can to help me, but MOL is saying they can't lift the ban. Why? If my previous employer has no objections, and is even helpful in me obtaining this new job, why would MOL stop me? My previous contract was unlimited

  1. Dont confuse with ban and NOC, if you change job breaking your contract period you will get an automatic ban and this ban can be lifted by paying fees in the labour if you have an NOC.
