Light Armour Marines or Army -What is this Marine's helmet? ?

I'm not in anyway involved in any type of HMMWV activities. I don't like HMMWV's; I don't ride in them. I don't even like capitol hummers or H3's. As a result I am ignorant of the gear. I am watching the series 'Generation Kill.' I like that show. I notice most of the Marines are wearing the old PASGT helmets. One Marine in the second vehicle of the protagonist platoon however, wears a full-head helmet that looks like a motorcycle helmet. What is this helmet, who makes it, and what type of team member would wear that?

its just a dirt bike helmet he wears because he lost his kevlar helmet. he later uses an iraqi helmet painted in desert colors

hahaha wow ok first off i guess you missed acouple episodes since you dont know what happened to his helmet....it feel off and he didnt have a replacement so he put on the only thing available which was the motorcycle helmet (dont really know why they would have that in the first place but oh well)

and as for the old PASGT helmets the film is set back in 2003 so technically that was standard issue back then until they adopted the newer Lightweight helmet in late 2004
