Light Smoke, Dark Smoke, Or Silver Mirror Visor?

Question

Im karting, i currently have a clear visor. Iv'e heard iridium are expensive and the finish wears off. I like the clear visor, its the best vision, performance comes first to me but i do like it to look nice.

So, if i bought a Light smoke or Dark smoke visor would the vision be pretty similar? Same with silver mirror.

Please say what you think is the best out of Light, dark smoke and mirrored, and the reason.

I think dark smoke is too dark - sometimes it seem like it actually obstructs the vision.  Where my kids race, they aren't allowed to run with dark shields on once the track lights have been turned on.  Constantly changing shields could prove to be a pain in the neck, unless you have 2 different helmets.
