Light brown mucusy spotting 8 days after s*x...way tmi! 10 pts?

Question

I was wondering if this would be implantation? I tested today and got a negative. My period is already due..days ago, but my period never starts like this. I always start red and heavy. But I do have cramps, so I dont know what it is.

Sorry, a million questions.

Could be implantation, or it could be your period. If your period doesn't come in a day or two, then it is probably implantation bleeding and you need to test again. Good luck!

Sorry TMI right back at you, but that's the same way my period always starts.  I get crampy and a brown gross discharge...I was told by the doctor that it is old dried blood coming out before the new stuff.

That sounds exactly like my implantation bleeding. And especially the fact that you didn't get your period makes me think even more that it could be implantation. And my first sign of pregnancy was period like cramps. I'd try another test in a few days, and if still no period, go to the doc for a blood test.
