One of my light bulb (it one of those energy saving one) emit a dim red glow instead of the white light that it should. The bulb is not color or anything. Is this a pretty common occurrence? Is there any way to fix this or do i have to get a new one.

  1. If the bulb is flourescent, replace it. The same thing happens with the long tube type lights.

  2. Your bulb sounds like you might need to return it if you just bought it.They flicker and turn bright .something is not right.

  3. Yow I would try a new bulb

  4. I'm sorry to inform you of this, but it sounds like you're in real trouble.  You may have to go to the bank, hat in hand, and apply for a loan to purchase a new replacement light bulb.

  5. Sounds like the lamp is fixing to burn out
