Most of the time, the light bulbs will burn out less then two weeks. On Friday, I went to my bedroom, three of the four light bulbs burned out at the same time. What is causing this? We lived here for one year. We have dealt with this the whole time. The landlord says that it is normal, but we never had that problem before. I've only lived in three houses in my whole life.

  1. Get in touch with your electricity provider.  It seems your voltage is too high.  If they don't offer to help, buy a cheap voltmeter from Radio Shack, and have them show you how to use it, on one of their wall plugs.  If your voltage is more than about 125, go back and tell the electricity provider.

If you need more help, e-mail me.

  2. Your electric might have a grounding problem.I had this problem . My  neutral from power company was severed. My power would surge from like 190 volts to almost nothing. It almost burned out all my lights. I did save my refrigerator.
