My best bud has been settled down now for 2 years and is married to a good guy. He is in the military and totally scott clean. She discribed to me that today she had a green discharge that was light and not very wet. discribed as "crusty" once she noticed it in the bathroom.

it has happened before but she said it was years ago and lasted only a day or two.

i suspected gonorrhea.

but after googling the symptoms, she says none of them fit. no pain, no bleeding, swelling, rashes nothing. the only other symptom would be a smell she discribed as bitter.

What could this be? Ive never heard of it.

Shes got a Drs apt this thursday, so that will be interesting.

  1. Could be all sorts of things.  Yeast is greenish sometimes, but it usually clumpy like cottage cheese, but definitely not always.  It does not necessarily have to be an STD, there are other vaginal infections that are not transmitted sexually.  No reason to jump the gun to gonorrhea.

  2. it could be bacterial vaginosis or triachymanosis. When she goes to the doctor, have her ask them to do a culture. That will tell them exactly what it is and they'll know how to treat it.

  3. yeast infection, tell her to get a pap test

  4. see a doctor

  5. Yellow or Green may indicate an infection, especially if it thick or clumpy like cottage cheese or has a foul odor.

  6. THAT IS ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING DONT STAY AROUND HER LOL.
