Light low-cal foods that fill you up?

Can anyone name some light low-cal foods that fill you up for up to about 3 hours?

  1. Every morning I have a huge bowl of oat bran (one cup of oat bran and three cups of water) mixed with splenda, and either fruit or yogurt. It's only about 300 calories in total and fills me up until my next meal. Considering my appetite, that's a pretty significant feat. Any kind of oatmeal will do, but pure, bulk bought oat bran is the healthiest and has the least amount of calories.  


  2. 2 pieces of whole wheat bread

    1 tablespoon of sugar free grape jelly

    2 tablespoons of peanut butter

    1 cup of fat free milk

    1 large bottle of water (700 ml? thats what it says on the bottle lol)

    peanut butter and jelly sandwich with milk= 350 calories

    thats what i had for lunch and its been 3 and a half hours, but im still full!

    p.s. put the sandwich in the microwave for like 15 or so seconds and it will be soft and gooey. YUM-O! lol.

  3. chicken breast turkey breast corn peas those fill me up good roast beef!!! :) tuna lean meats do best for me protein bars also are very good and mine is 180cals 20g protein  that's very good also eggs are pretty filling like egg beaters for lower cal and fat content spagetti isnt a low cal food person above lol it's very high calorie bananas are good too it's like 100cal a banana and pretty dam filling id say peanut butter isnt badd kinda high cal but filling and good fat which u need u want carbs complex wheat is much more filling cuz higher fiber content and takes longer to fully digest

  4. Spaghetti Squash, it's great, full of fiber, and just seems to stick with you.
