Light pink discharge for a day and a half then brown today?

Also been feeling a little queezy.

I'm not due my period until next week though.

We've been trying for a baby since my last period (which started 23rd July).

I've heard of implantation bleeding but I didn't have any of this with my previous pregnancy.

Have you experienced this before?

Does it mean I am pregnant or does it mean I had an early miscarriage?

I want this baby so much and the wait to take a test is killing me as it's a whole week away.

Thanks x

  1. It could just be your period coming a week early as periods are so unpredictable. The pink discharge and brown today, could mean your period is on its way and going to start soon. However, it could be implantation bleeding, but its very rare.

I would wait until your period is due. If you do not come on when you are supposed to, then test. You will just have to be patient this next week.

  2. The timing's a little strange for it to be implantation. Normally it occurs 4-6 days before your next period, but certainly if it lasts for around 24 hours and then stops, that could be it. You can then test about 3 or 4 days later. Good luck hun!

  3. wow same thing happened to me.IB is so confusing I had it with two of my pregnancies but that was 13yrs ago so I didn't know it had a name.we will know next week I guess, good luck and lot's of baby dust.

  4. this happened to me too...i was so happy i was pregnant...yesterday i thaught i had my period but it was miscarriage...saw stuff in the toilet then went to the hospital..im realy not trying to scare u..i hope it is implantation bleeding congrats...i hope u make that baby =)...goodluck to you and dont get too excited until u go get it checked out by the doctor...

  5. Implantation bleeding is not that rare and can occur at different stages. I had implantation bleeding when i was already 6 weeks pg. BUT it would have to be at least 7 days after you ovulated as that is when the implantation occurs 7-10 days but again thisis only an average and everyone is different. It does very much sound the right colour etc for implantation. If you dont normally get spotting a week before af then chances are this could be good news for you. Try and hold out as long as you can to test, but remember a BFN before your AF is due is not always correct and test again if AF is late.
