Light went out

Question

I picked up this singer touch-tronic 2001 memory machine for 8 dollars at a thrift store. Started using it 7 weeks ago and have made wonderful things not breaking a needle once. Thought I won a lottery. great machine. Just started to sew and the lights went out. I hope there is a easy cheap way to fix this because money is short and I know I'll never own a machine like this again. I love it. any suggestions???? what it could be. If the light bulb burns out does it stop you from using all the other sitiches?? Thank You
