why is every person dogging on Sidney Crosby. sure, his first season he dove, whatever. anyways hes the or one of the best players out there. i just think the other teams are scared of him so they say he dives. any one elses thoughts.

It's all about jealousy.  Since he is the face of the NHL and not on the other 31 teams, those fans have to cry about it.  Oh well, let them.  Losers.

Sidney Crysby. I like him, I rooted for the Pens. I think he's a really good player.

I think he dives because he does dive.  That doesn't mean I think he's a bad player.  He's a great offensive threat and can view the ice better than anyone in the league.  I'll leave the best player in the league argument until he spends more time on penalty kills, but he's already shown greatness and still has potential to get better since he's still younger than the physical prime of hockey players.

Even the best players should be criticized for what they do wrong, no free passes should be given because no player is above the game; it's not a "scared" thing.

I'm a Pittsburgh fan and a Crosby fan, but I'll rag on him with everyone else.

He is a great player everyone knows that.

Back in the 05-06 season I was real uptight about him. If anyone dare say a word negative about him I threw a fit and told them to go eat c**p.

This year I learned it's not worth the yelling and trying to convince everyone. People will be stubborn.

Take the advice. You're not going to beat them. People are stubborn. Just lighten up about.

DUDE! Simple. Those that dont follow him and his team... The Pittsburgh Crosbys.... are over the hype. Imagine watching your favorite team on TV and you heard SIDs name every game when he isnt even playing. We are not hating on his skills... just the hype we all get sick of. There are manyt great players in the league, and the NHL could survive without him. SO give it a rest except when he is playing! Thanks.... btw... ZATA made him look like a ROOKIE in the Finals.

hes a great player, or will be.  Hes just not mature enough yet to handle the pressure, as you could see in the stanley cup finals.  He never gave credit to the other teams that shut him down throughout the season, I think hes a great player(im a wings fan mind you) and the stanley cup loss will be a great learning/maturing experience for him

i don't have any problem with sidney crosby..he's an awesome player & everyone knows that. some people just don't want to admit it. people are just jealous that he's on the penguins & not there team.

Crosby literally 'dove' at most twice his rookie season, and hey, it worked, so why the f*ck not. His feet are always moving, and he is always the target on the Penguins, paired against the best defense on each team, but if he goes down no one gives him the benefit of the doubt. Mario Lemieux dove like the ice wasn't solid, he didn't get dogged for it, because he earned respect in the league for going through what he went through. Apparently Crosby is going to have to go through Hodgkin's disease, chronic tendinitis,  spinal disc herniations and irregular heartbeat before the average hockey fan respects him. Players and fans want to get under his skin by saying things like that to try to effect his game.....FYI it's not working.
