  1. s***w the lighter bikes.

Get a sidecar for your Road King. Only girls and pussies ride Sportsters.

  2. The HD's are made big and heavy to support the big and heavy engine.

I wish you HD guys would test ride a lightweight, perfectly balanced bike, you will love it (example Honda Interceptor, Yamaha V Star 1300)

In today's economy , in a world economy motorcycles are lightweight and efficient engines to produce the maximum power with the smallest, lightest engine, with a perfectly balanced center of gravity to make it a much more easier and comfortable ride.

HD is 20 to 30 years behind time, all other bikes are improved with up to date technology and engineering

  3. You could give it to me. I'd have the keys, and you'd still love it.

  4. http://www.safetyfeatures.com/

    Watch the video.

  5. A Honda Goldwing Trike!

I'll get you to come to the good side eventually!

  6. just get you a long legged chick dad with a miniskirt and no bra, nipples so hard that when you go to stop they will poke you in the back,it will be like a brake signal, feet are down.it will make riding easier

  7. Depends on which model you ride......

Lowering the motorcycle may not help because more than likely leg length probably isn't the issue unless you just need just a little more contact with the ground to give you more leverage to park.

Some of the Harleys just seem lighter and more well balanced to me, even the newer ones.......................

I a gal who rides a Lowrider, but I have found my husband's Fatboy easier to move around while washing.............................

And the Deluxe's seem to me to be the lightest, most balanced motorcycle they put out (unbelievable I just didn't want floorboards, so I didn't get either the Fatboy or Deluxe)

I don't know what you ride, but you may want to consider one of those, because it doesn't matter if the bike is light if the center of gravity isn't low........Center of Gravity is where it's at.

Give me more details and I'll edit my response:

    Happy Riding to you!

  8. You could have it converted to a trike.  There are several companies that will do this.  Or buy an accessory called Landing Gear. It is a set of  wheels,  like training wheels, that lower automatically when ever you are stopped or almost stopped.

  9. Yeah, but back then the engines where half the size they are now and had side valves, the tranny only had 3 speeds, the bikes had no suspension, most of them had only a single seat, and the tires where skinny.

Hey Joe B: If Harleys are such old tech why are all the j*p bike makers trying to copy it, even the sound? Not to mention you said you wish Harley riders would try a lighter, balanced bike. Well, guess what? Most Harley riders start out on j*p bikes and switch over to Harleys later on. I agree that Harleys are not the best handling bike but not everyone is trying to pretend they are riding a race bike. People have the freedom to ride what they think looks good to them and don't consider handling to be the sole reason for having a bike. And while the engine is based on old tech it is far from being 30 years old. Ever heard of fuel injection? Harley has been using them for years (at least 10). Plus how many other motorcycle companies sell a computer program that lets you use you computer to remap the spark curves or fuel injection map? And design of the engine is one of the easiest ones out there to work on. I wish people would get a clue and realize people are different and like different things, whether they're old school or new.
