Can Anyone Lend Me A Solution To This Problem? I am looking for a light-weight, surface to place on a shelving unit, to support the weight of small kitchen appliances? How do I cut it to fit the shelves? Thanx for your reply. Blessings, ~praise-pink~

  1. I would use solid pine board, and cut it either with a hand saw or a circular saw. It is cheap, and stiffer than plywood.

  2. Go to your local hardware store and ask for shelving boards pick something you like and propper brackets.Good luck.

  3. Polystyrene (styrofoam) would do just fine. In case you are wondering, it is the packing material that normally came with new appliances.

  4. lite weight try using plex e glass use a box knive to cut it

    good luck
