Lightheaded during period?

I just had a c-section 6 weeks ago and have a very heavy period and I am very lightheaded I was wondering if these were related and If anyone else has gone through it and what helped with the lightheadedness?

You are lightheaded because you are losing a lot of blood.  Lie down and rest, also drink a lot of fluids to rehydrate your body.  Call your doctor.

it could be from the loss of blood and your iron is dropping. take iron pills and you should feel better
