Lighting a pilot light in a 30 year old roper gas...

Question

I know you are going to laugh when you get this e-mail but I don't know how to light the pilot light in my 30 year old Roper gas range (in the oven part - the burners are OK).  It is model #1237W06 which I know is discontinued but someone there has to know how to solve this simple problem.  Please hurry - I smell gas, my eyes are tearing and I have checked the stove part which is fine.....
