Lightly raced Farloe Tango aiming for the victory in the Grade IR The Betfair Iphone and Android App
Farloe Tango will be racing as a favourite with odds of 10 to 11 in the Grade IR The Betfair Iphone and Android App at Perry Barr on 21st March, 2012.
He will be competing against Westmead Bertie, Smart Bid, Droopys Stevie, Benkaat Blue, and Guinness Kev for £500 over 480 metres.
The son of Hondo Black, out of Farloe Oyster, whelped on 15th September, has competed in one race in his career which took place on 13th February, 2012 at Nottingham. He defeated Mottos Blue by 1 ½ length over a distance of 305 metres.
Since then, C. Lister took him through three solo races in order to prepare him for this race. The first solo run covered a distance of 305 metres which Farloe Tango completed in 18.00 seconds on 5th March, 2012 at Nottingham.
The second solo run covered a distance of 275 miles which the hound completed in 16.12 seconds on 10th March, 2012 where as the third solo race took place on 16th March, 2012. This covered a distance of 480 metres which were completed
in 28.21 seconds. Both of these practice runs took place at Perry Barr.
With odds of 7 to 2, Benkaat Blue looks like he has good chances of winning this race. The M. Wallis-trained-hound finished last in the Ladbrokes Puppy Derby 2012 Final at Monmore on 15th March, 2012. He finished the 480 metre track in 29.13 seconds
where as the winner finished in 28.57 seconds.
This was a setback as the son of Droopys Scolari, out of Star Of Dromin, emerged his earlier race as a winner. He defeated Scramble by 1 ¼ lengths in 28.28 seconds in the Ladbrokes Puppy Derby 2012 Semi-Final 2 at the same track on 8th March,
2012.
Benkaat Blue will be making his debut at Perry Barr in his races. His previous races took place at Monmore, Henlow and Yarmouth among other tracks.
Droopys Stevie, the son of Droopys Vieri, out of Droopys Rena, ran solo at Perry Barr on 13th March, 2012. He completed the 480 metre track in an impressive time of 28.79 seconds. D. Childs is hopeful about his prospects from this race.
In this race, he will be racing with odds of 5 to 1, looking to claim a placed finish.
He finished fourth in the Grade OR RD Racing Trafalgar Puppy Cup Final on 25th February, 2012 at Oxford. He was badly crowded first and could not break out of the pack to gain the lead. He finished in 27.80 seconds where as Guinness Dusty, the
winner, finished in 26.87 seconds.
He finished sixth in his most recent performance in the Grade OR Ladbrokes Puppy Derby at Monmore on 1st March, 2012. He could not keep in the race as he was baulked and fell. Despite the fall he finished in 30.22 seconds where as race winner,
Manic Scolari, finished in 28.14 seconds.
With Childs’s training, he may be able to gain his composure and deliver a steady performance.
The punters are expecting Farloe Tango’s victory with Benkaat Blue finishing second. If Droopys Stevie gathers his pace early, he may be looking at a placed finish.
