Question:

Lights in our Thermador Hood model #VCH36

We have a problem with the lights in our Thermador Hood model #VCH36.
One bulb burned out, so we changed it as well as the other (figuring it was old, and we wanted them to match). The correct bulb type and wattage was used.
They worked for 10 minutes or so, and when we attempted to dim them (we used dimmable halogen bulbs that still work when tested in other fixtures), they both went out! The internal nightlight feature on the switch is working, so the switch is working and no fuse was blown on the main circuit breaker.... Any ideas? Is there a hidden fuse somewhere? Many thanks for ANY help!

We have a thermadore hood (PHE48US Model #20090157) with 4 bulbs that are no longer working. We bought new bulbs for it, but the problem persist. We suspect that the problem might be in the push button switch. The exhaust continues to operate without problems. Can you tell us how to purchase a new switch, if this is the problem.
Thank you.
