Lights on all the time in Dodge Durango 03

We had to remove the fuse so the battery wouldnt run down. Im not good with electrical work on cars, but what could be causing all the lights to stay on all the time? Its not a door sensor jammed, otherwise the dash would say there is a door open, right? Plus we unplugged all the elctrical connections from the suspected rear gate (my dad backed in to a tree and we thought that damage was causing a sensor malfunction) and the lights stayed on. help??

  1. the lights are on all the time because you raised your car to be wastefull and to not care about saving power

and its scared of the dark

so   fix it by giving the car a good smack on the bumper everytime it leaves the lights on and tell it no bad car

but really the rear gate light switch could be damaged

  2. there is a recall on that... see your local Dodge dealer today
