Roberto Duran vs tony canzonieri: Duran was an extremely tough and strong boxer at lightweight, i really doubt that calzonieri could damage duran at that weight so i think duran would win it.

aaron pryor vs locche: two very different fighters, locche was a defensive virtuoso while pryor was a strong offensive figher, locche could have handled pryor's pressure but he was not strong enough to match pryor offensively so i think pryor would win by decision.

heny armstrong vs benny leonard: tough match up as both guys were really good fighters however armstrong has demonstrated that he had the abilty to handle a lot more damage than benny leonard and thus i am inclined to believe that he would win this fight.

alexis arguello vs joe gans: this is a very tough one to pick from, many young kids here would pick arguello because they are familiar with his name,little do they know that joe gans is one of the best all time pound for pound fighters ever this is too difficult of a match up to predic because A) they fought at different times, boxing was very different in the days of joe gans whereas arguello was a modern boxer (at least by today's standards) and B) both fighters were extremely good at lightweight, arguello beat greats like ray mancini and gans's record at lightweight pretty much speaks for itself (162 wins and only 10 losses) however we do not have footage of all his fights and we do not know whther all of his opponents were actual lightweights (like i said they did things differently back then) both fighters had great stamina and both fighters could handle pressure very wellboth fighters were versatile and both fighters had good skills ...I cannot pick a winner here because i just don't have enough to rate Joe gans and compare him to a modern day boxer like arguello, this is one of those fights where we will never know who would have won...of course i trust you to be the one to ask this question lol.
