Traveling from vienna, think the train stops in triste.

Guess i need to take a - Bus to the Beach Resort in Lignano ?

The best way is by direct train. Yes, there's a dierct train from Vienna to Latisana which is to the north of Lignano. The train departs from Vienna Westbahnhof at 8:34pm and arrives in Latisana at 7:35am. The train number is EN237. You can also connect using one of these options:

Take train OEC31 from Vienna Sudbahnhof departing at 6:30am to arrive in Venezia Mestre station at 1:14pm. You then take train R2211 departing at 2:22pm to arrive in Latisana at 3:15pm. This connection is available until 9th of June.

You can also take train EC159 from Vienna Sudbahnhof to Zagreb Glavni Kolod. station departing at 3:57pm and arriving at 10:32pm. Then take train EN240 from Zagreb departing at 11:40pm to arrive in Latisana at 6:13am.

Also train D1135 can take you on Friday only from 1st June until 7th of September, from Vienna Sudbahnhof to Venezia Mestre. Departure at 9:05pm, and arrival at 4:46am. Then take train ICN773 from Mestre departing at 5:53am to arrive in Latisana at 6:51am.
