Cash-laden Paris Saint-Germain looking to steal race ahead of AC Milan to sign troubled Carlos Tevez from English Premier League rich boys Manchester City
In a surprising turn of events, French Ligue 1 rich boys, Paris Saint-Germain are seriously considering snatching Argentine international http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Carlos-c8346 Tevez from English Premier League side Manchester City in the upcoming winter transfer window.
Italian Serie A giants AC Milan were previously favourites to land the troubled striker. However, things have taken a whole new direction in the recent days with PSG now looking to outbid AC Milan in the race for the signature of Tevez.
Tevez, who has already been frozen out of the Manchester City squad by http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323, is willing to be sold by the club this winter. However, City want the full market value for their player. AC Milan want to bring the striker on loan at the San Siro for
at least one season with an option to buy him in the next.
However, the Citizens only want to sell the striker to a club that will pay the required amount for the talented Argentine. Reports in both French and Italian media now suggest that PSG are looking to mount a 28 million Euros bid for the want-away striker.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, PSG are keen on meeting City’s valuation of Tevez. City rate Tevez at 28 million Euros, a price that is certainly affordable for a club that spent almost 90 million Euros in the summer transfer window this year.
Furthermore, Tevez can also be confirmed of a lucrative deal at PSG if he chooses to join the Ile giants. Reports suggest that City are willing to offer Tevez 650,00 Euros a month which would make the former Manchester United man the highest paid player
in the history of Ligue 1.
If the South American chooses to join PSG this winter, he will earn around three million Euros by the end of the current campaign and would earn around 6 million Euros a year which is certainly more than what he can expect from AC Milan who can’t go above
five million Euros a year.
