With the reigning champions hosting the league leaders and Olympique Lyonnais looking to continue their good run at the Stade August Bonal, week 12 of the 2012/2013 Championnat promises to be an eventful one

With the exception of Olympique de  Marseille and Olympique Lyonnais, whose game was cancelled due to strong winds around the Velodrome, all teams have played 11 games each in the 2012/2013 Ligue 1 campaign.
As things stand, Paris Saint-Germain are on the Ligue 1 summit, level on points with rivals Olympique de Marseille who have a game in hand. The two are closely followed by Olympique Lyonnais who also have a game in hand and trail by just a solitary point.
Toulouse, Valenciennes, AS Saint-Etienne and Bordeaux are also in the thick of things so a fierce race for the podium place and Championelle should be expected.
Things are looking pretty complicated in the bottom half of the table with at least three teams scampering from the dreaded relegation zone which is currently holding out Evian TG, ESTAC Troyes and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/AS-Nancy-c38468 Lorraine who have just five points.
LOSC Lille Vs Stade Brestois, Saturday, November 10, 2012
The game against Brestois would be Rudi Garcia’s side’s first game following their 6-1 pounding at the hands of German Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich on Wednesday night. After seeing their UCL hopes extinguish at the Allianz Arena, Garcia would be hoping
to see his side deliver a strong performance against the 13th placed side in a bid to put a lid on critics for the time being.
Predictions: Lille 1-0 Brest
AS Saint-Etienne Vs ESTAC Troyes, Saturday, November 10, 2012
After beating Stade Rennais 2-0 at the Cauldron last Friday and then condemning Paris Saint-Germain to their first Ligue 1 defeat of the season on their own turf, Christophe Galtier would be hoping to see his team register another win at the expense of newly-promoted
Troyes who are deep in the woods at the moment.
Currently, the Champagne club is in 19th place in the league standings and after drawing 1-1 at home against reigning champions Montpellier Herault, Jean-Marc Furlan would be hoping to see his side to at least try and keep the likes of Brandao
and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang at bay.
Predictions: AS Saint-Etienne 3-0 ESTAC Troyes
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Toulouse-FC-c40751 Vs AC Ajaccio, Saturday, November 10, 2012
Alain Casanova’s side have made an excellent start to the campaign and are currently in fourth place in the Ligue 1 with 19 points on the board. And, the French tactician would be hoping that last week’s 1-0 defeat to FC Girondins de Bordeaux was nothing
but a bump on the road when his side take on under-pressure AC Ajaccio who lost 2-0 at home to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Olympique-de-Marseille-c40127.
Predictions: Toulouse 2-0 AC Ajaccio
FC Sochaux Montbéliard Vs http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Olympique-Lyonnais-c40130, Sunday, November 11, 2012
Remi Garde might make a few changes to his side after their Europa League encounter against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Athletic-Club-c38535 Bilbao in San Mames. However, the French tactician knows the importance of not letting his side’s guard slip throughout the campaign. So, when Les Gones
take on relegation-worried Sochaux, it will not be surprising to see a mixture of a few fringe and experienced players in the line-up.
Predictions: Sochaux 1-2 Lyon
Montpellier Herault SC Vs Paris Saint-Germain, Sunday, November 11, 2012
In one of the most anticipated games of this week, reigning champions Montpellier Herault will take on league leaders Paris Saint-Germain who would be looking to move on from the home defeat at the hands of AS Saint-Etienne last week.
Montpellier on the other hand, are in heaps of trouble and after being knocked out of the Champions League, Rene Girard must now turn his focus towards the domestic affairs in which getting far away from the relegation zone would be the primary aim.
It is hard to see Montpellier compete to stay in contention for retaining their Ligue 1 crown which they worked so hard for last season but a good performance against Carlo Ancelotti’s side could be the season defining moment for Louis Nicollin and co.
Prediction: Montpellier 1-1 Paris Saint-Germain
