Evian Thonon Gaillard FC
Evian TG have faced Paris Saint-Germain only once before in the last 32 round of French cup in January 2010. It was Bernard Casoni’s first game as coach of Evian. The Alpine club did manage to score a goal but were thrashed 3-1.
The outfit would be facing the capital club for the first time in the top division. The Haute-Savoie situated club have come a long way since their last defeat in 2010. Evian were in National D3 when they lost to PSG and since then the club have made dramatic

start to their 2011/12 Ligue 1 season.
They do not appear to be intimidated with the momentum of PSG. Defender Aldo Angoula is confident in his abilities and believes that he will be able to break the pace of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Kevin-Gameiro-c20721. The 30-year-old defender was quoted saying “We know how Gameiro and Nene
play because of all the media attention. We don't need to look at the videos… My objective is not to be a spectator.”
The Alps club have not scored for 285 minutes in a competitive game and have earned only six points from five Ligue 1 games so far. The 50-year-old Frenchman will be hoping to halt Les Parisiens at home and progress from their current 12th position
in Ligue 1 standings.
Paris Saint-Germain
PSG have been on song lately and have recorded six straight wins in all competition. If Les Parisiens are able to win against the rookies of Ligue 1 and the match against OGC Nice following that, Les Rouge-et-Bleu would achieve an unprecedented feat with
eighth wins in a row.
The Paris club have already managed to match the feat of Luis Fernandez who recorded four Ligue 1 wins and two in Coupe des Coupes. Les Parisiens coach Antoine Kombouare has registered three wins in Ligue 1 Championelle and three in Europa League.
With a 3-1 win over Red Bull Salzburg in their opening game of Group F of UEFA Europa League, the capital club are fully set to take on the newly promoted Evian TG. In post match press conference, the French tactician was quoted saying, “The win over Salzburg
was the perfect way to prepare for Sunday's game at Evian.”
Kombouare said that individual skills and dribbling past defenders does not impress the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/New-Caledonia-c2967 native. The former Valenciennes coach said: “Teamwork is about spirit, making the effort to win the ball back, playing for your friends, moving the ball
on quickly, having the desire to play passes.”
