Ligue 1 special: Best performing new recruits of the 2011/2012 Ligue 1 campaign (part 2)

....Continued from part 1

After almost two months till since resumption of the Ligue 1 and with just three months left in the opening of the winter transfer window, the time for the assessment of summer signings has come.
Bettor.com, gives its opinions on the best performing new recruits who are plying their trade in the French Ligue 1.
Joe Cole
Age: 29
Country: England
Club: LOSC Lille
In certainly one of the biggest moves across the border in recent history, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Joe-Cole-c18694 signed for champions Lille in the final hours of the summer transfer window on a season-long loan deal from Liverpool.
Since his move to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786, Cole has seen a rough side to the life of a footballer. However, no one could think that the midfielder would go for a French Ligue 1 club in search of regular football. There’s no doubting Cole’s technical ability
but the Englishman had a lot to prove when he arrived at Lille.
His first appearance for Les Dogues was a great one as he took on four defenders and beat all of them to provide an assist for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Eden-Hazard-c11863, the midfielder has formed a great partnership with Benoit Pedretti in the midfield. The
29-year-old scored a fantastic goal for Lille in a 1-1 draw to Lorient which was his first goal for the club.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jonathan-Zebina-c19071
Age: 33
Country: http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899
Club: Stade Brestois
At the age of 33, Jonathan Zebina is back home after playing football in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926 for over 13 years. The defender signed for Brest from Brescia in 2011 and has become an integral part of the squad. though the former Juventus man has lost a lot of pace over
the years, his experience is highly valued at the Finistère-based club.
Landry N’Guemo
Age: 25
Country: Cameroon
Club: Bordeaux
The 25-year-old http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Cameroon-c2865 international joined Bordeaux on a free transfer from Nancy Lorraine this summer and has so far played all of Les Girondins games in the Ligue 1 this season. at Nancy, he played the role of second fiddle but at Bordeaux, the midfielder
was given a difficult task of filling the void left by the departure of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Olympique-de-Marseille-c40127.
So far, the Cameroonian has not disappointed and has put in hardworking shifts on a regular basis despite Bordeaux’s evident failures to score goals and turn draws into wins. The midfielder knows that he is in for a difficult season at the club but if he
keeps the way he has been playing so far, Bordeaux could hope for a good conclusion to the current season.
Julien Feret
Age: 29
Country: France
Club: Stade Rennais
The 29-year-old defender from Saint-Brieuc is currently in the best form of his life and is the main reason behind Rennais’ excellent start to the 2011/2012 season. After spending three seasons at Nancy Lorraine, the former Cherbourg defender joined Rennais.
The defender, who can also operate in the defensive midfield, has already scored two goals apiece in the Ligue 1 and in the Europa League and is already considered as a great signing made by Rennais coach Frederic Antonetti. The defender’s consistent performances
have already set the tone for a good season and Antonetti would be hoping for more of the same from a defender he had been waiting to get his hands on for a long time.
