The likes of Yann M’Vila, Mathieu Debuchy, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-Ospina-c10573 and Ryad Boudebouz were promised greatness in pastures unknown yet they are still at the clubs where they were last summer
Ryad Boudebouz
Age: 22
Country: http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Algeria-c2835
Position: Midfielder
“The only club with who I had contact with is Marseille. I was told to wait a little. They first wanted to sell a player to pay for my transfer. My clause has been set at 6 million euros. Marseille is a challenge that attracts me a lot,” said http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ryad-Boudebouz-c31970
earlier this summer.
However, the young Algerian’s dream of making a summer move to the Stade Velodrome remained a dream as Les Phoceens just couldn’t dig deep in their pockets to sign the Sochaux star. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Olympique-de-Marseille-c40127 sporting director, Jose Anigo was keen on signing
the player only to deem him too expensive for the fragile finances of the club.
Therefore, the Sochaux midfielder must now remain docked in Montbéliard. The former darling of the Bonal has somehow enraged the Doubistes who let their discontent known by a banner with some less than eloquent words for the 22-year-old (Ryad Degage).
Out of contract next June, Boudebouz is likely to be sold by Les Lionceaux management in the winter transfer market.
David Ospina
Club: OGC Nice
Country: http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Colombia-c2873
Age: 24
Position: Goalkeeper
Hoping to see a new challenge in his playing career after three seasons with OGC Nice, Colombian international, David Ospina was allowed by his club management to discuss a transfer to another club. The club on the Riviera was hopeful of getting some money
for the shot-stopper who is considered as one of the finest custodians in France at the moment.
However, nothing went as the player would have hoped for despite advanced contacts with Turkish giants, Besiktas. Back in July, Ospina stated via his twitter account that he was nearing a move to the Turkish Super Lig side.
“I really liked the way I was received in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Turkey-c3026. Everything is almost ready for me to become the new guardian of Besiktas.”
Unluckily, the opportunity proved to be too good to be true. To make matters even worse, Les Aiglons had already found a replacement for the shot-stopper in Joris Delle. Now, Ospina has become an understudy to the Frenchman and will bide his time on the
bench.
Yann M’Vila
Club: Stade Rennais
Position: Midfielder
Country: http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899
Age: 22
“I heard that Arsenal was interested. I love Arsenal and love Premier League, I do not know where the clubs are, but yes, I would be interested in the idea of playing in the Premier League,” said Yann M’Vila earlier this summer.
The France international’s consistent performances for Stade Rennais over the past few years certainly warrant a move to a bigger European club where he can have a shot at winning some accolades. However, things changed quickly for the defensive midfielder
following a poor showing at the European Championships with France.
After Les Bleus’ elimination at the hands of eventual Euro winners http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011, M’Vila was made the scapegoat of the campaign and media thoroughly publicised his substitution scenario.
The likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429, Tottenham and AC Milan were keen on signing the gifted midfielder but nothing materialised and now, the player is stuck in Breton. Back to the basics time has begun for M’Vila who must prove himself at Rennais again and hope for a miracle
to happen next January.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mathieu-Debuchy-c24682
Club: Lille
Age: 27
Country: France
Position: right-back
In recent months, the Lille full-back has turned a new corner both for the club and the France national team. After twenty years in Lille, Debuchy craves for a new challenge. However, it appears that the 27-year-old would have done so without the blessing
of his club whose leaders were desperate to keep the player at Villeneuve d’Ascq.
However, Debuchy is still hopeful of making a move soon.
“Today, I am still determined to find something else, another experience, and I would like to speak with the president to make it clear between us. You know, once I asked to leave, I really want that to go well.”
Unfortunately, despite advanced negotiations with Real Madrid and Newcastle United, Debuchy was unable to secure a move away from the Metropole.
