the midfielder is expected to play a big role for Rudi Garcia’s side in the Championnat and in the Champions League.
With Nolan Roux arriving at the club from Stade Brestois earlier this year, Marvin Martin’s arrival means that Les Dogues will have a player who can pair up well with the French striker who is yet to find the Midas touch so far in his short Lille career.
Romain Hamouma
Club: AS Saint-Etienne

The 25-year-old midfielder signed for Christophe Galtier’s side this summer from Stade Malherbe de Caen for a fee believed to be in the region of 1.2 million euros. In his first Ligue 1 game for Les Verts, Hamouma scored a goal. However, the Frenchman’s
striker was not enough as ASSE eventually lost the game 2-1.
Last season, Saint-Etienne failed to secure a European berth, something that was disappointing considering the fact that the Rhone giants were actually flying very high for most part of the 2011/2012 campaign.
With the arrival of Hamouma, the club can be hopeful that the team gives itself a better chance of securing a place in European football, which has eluded them over the past few seasons.
